Developed by Dr. Adams and his team of associates, the intensive workshops create a unique healing process for those with specific therapeutic needs and are held at the beautiful Colombiere Retreat and Conference Center in Clarkston, Michigan. Workshops have been designed with the same attention to detail and compassion Dr. Adams has ensured in his southeast Michigan practice and in his previous work at Life Healing Center in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
*NEW* – Online Zoom format Mother-Enmeshed Men weekend educational sessions are temporarily available summer and fall 2020 to help meet demand while we continue to work around COVID-19 travel and health guidelines.
The Mother Enmeshed Men (MEM) Workshop was originally held twice a year from 2014 to 2016, but because of increasing demand for this life-altering event, we now host up to five workshops each year. Workshops fill three to four months ahead of time and we have had to turn away those who wait until the last minute to make the decision to attend. Here are some comments from a few participants explaining some of the benefits they gained through the workshop:

Recovery Enhancement for Mother-Enmeshed Men
Men who have had an enmeshed relationship with their mother struggle with a range of problems regarding commitment, self-esteem, sexual dysfunction, over-caretaking, and addiction.
This workshop enables them to:
- Identify the trappings of enmeshment;
- Understand the impact of enmeshment on their erotic template;
- Cope with underlying anger & guilt;
- Develop strategies to help them to break free from inappropriate loyalties and learn to live within healthy commitments.
